Dead Flies

Small things can be our undoing. We know to take big things seriously. They often consume most of our thoughts and efforts. The world applauds large accomplishments. But often it is the small details that derail our large plans.

Flies are small. They are also a nuisance. It may seem easier to ignore them and hope they go away. But once they find their way into our work, they can ruin our efforts.

When we get busy, we can be tempted to assume that we do not have time to address the small details. They can be left to take care of themselves. But those same seemingly unimportant matters can come back to haunt us. Be careful you do not begin to treat seemingly “small” matters as unimportant. They may appear small now, but they may be crucial to your success.
